Oppo A16k makes its debut in the Philippines. This is a budget smartphone, but in a pretty good shape.
Oppo A16k will not necessarily impress with its specification. In this price segment, it's normal - the phone is supposed to work reasonably well and not cost too much - and the rest is less important. So let's start with the price: it is 6,999 Philippine pesos, or $ 140.
For this amount, a Filipino can buy a smartphone in a neat, though plastic housing, only 7.85 mm thick. Inside, the buyer will find a MediaTek Helio G35 processor and 3+32 GB memory and a battery with a capacity of 4230 mAh. The ColorOS 11.1 Lite interface based on Android 11 will appear on a 6.52-inch screen with HD + resolution and 480 nits brightness, with a typical refresh rate of 60 Hz. In the droplet notch of the screen there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera, while in the rear frame, suggesting the presence of two rear cameras, only one, 13-megapixel camera is hidden. As you can see, the phone is unlikely to impress - but it looks quite tolerable. From a distance - it can even pretend to be an average phone ...
